*Illusion of choice

Welcome citizen, You are invited to consider alternative ways of thinking in regards to current events and reality in general. A slick propaganda machine is in our midst - it is imperative that we citizens question the events unfolding before our very eyes. Taking the morning paper at face value and believing the world oscillates between the "dumb-show of left-wing vs. right-wing" will no longer suffice. Indeed, if we are to understand the plight of our reality, we must shed our political preconceptions and seek to understand the inner workings of our situation. It is time to reconsider our childish trust in our leadership and begin our journey for truth. The founding fathers would expect nothing less. Future generations are counting on it. The goal of this site is to expose the deception of those who mislead us in the name of greed and the danger this poses to our future. Our 'so called' leaders have chosen the path of war and destruction under the guise of 'freedom and peace'. Living in the midst of the most sophisticated dictatorship ever, many Americans seem oblivious to the damage being done to our country and our planet by an extremely powerful clique working in conjunction with a complicit corporate media and global banking. This is not a conspiracy theory. It is called a 'collusion of greed'. This 'collusion of greed' prevents us from addressing the real problems facing us, explicitly the serious degradation of the planet earth due to our non-sustainable way of life and the dangerous implication this carries for future generations. The Men Who Killed Kennedy is a video documentary series by Nigel Turner that originally aired in 1988 in England with two one-hour segments about the John F. Kennedy assassination. The United States corporation, Arts & Entertainment Company, purchased the rights to the original two segments. Three one-hour segments were added in 1991. A sixth segment was added in 1995. Finally, three additional hourly segments were added by the History Channel in November 2003.

The ninth segment, titled "The Guilty Men", directly implicated Lyndon B. Johnson. Within days, Johnson's widow, Lady Bird Johnson, more of his surviving associates, ex-President Jimmy Carter, and the lone, living Warren Commission commissioner and ex-President Gerald R. As millions of Americans know, the election of 2000 was irregular. In fact, it was later discovered to have been seriously compromised by fraudulent activity, none of which has been addressed by major media outlets in the United States. As citizens, we can all agree that regardless of political affiliation, irregularities in the electoral process are unacceptable for a democracy to function. The 2004 election was also irregular, contrary to what is being reported by major media outlets. This time around, it wasn't Florida delivering the goods, it was OHIO.

Indeed, it can be said with no doubt that the 2004 election was irregular. Four years of careful planning by a ruling elite determined not to lose. The illusion of choice between two pre-selected candidates in carefully scripted debates pitting the 'left vs. right'. No other candidates were given a chance to debate. Unfortunately, left vs. right are prefabricated constructs of ideology which people adopt, as they would a sports team. But what if both teams shared the same owner? The conservative vs. liberal arguments serve to divide the people. While there are obvious differences between these two ideological positions, Americans are not as divided as bogus polls would suggest.

You cannot 'bomb' your way to peace and 'freedom' is fleeting. Terrorism is only the latest buzz word to wage war and exercise control through fear. Citizens must familiarize themselves with the reality of the 'military industrial complex' and its dangerous implications to our democracy and world peace. The events of September 11 were the result of 'blowback' - Osama Bin Laden was a 'former' CIA asset. It must also be pointed out that nobody has benefited more from the aftermath of 9/11 than the oil industry, the arms industry and the elite politicians to whom they so generously donate billions of dollars each year.

To stop terrorism, we as a nation must explore the root causes and change our policies accordingly. We must remember that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. If tomorrow America was invaded, we too would become 'insurgents' and 'killers'. Covert actions in foreign lands and our support of oppressive governments have created the situation in which we find ourselves. In the end, all violence is terrorism regardless of who perpetuates it or who dies. The Iraqi fiasco will only serve to create a new generation of 'terrorists' and a new generation of traumatized American vets. The notion that we are fighting this war for our freedom is a lie. It is a cynical manipulation designed to further a sinister militaristic agenda and world domination.
